+Mascara obscura

A mask, a meditation cocoon, a personal introversion device, Mascara Obscura is a combination of all of these things and perhaps more.
Masks have long been used in antiquity and modern age as vessels for deities, demons and complex emotions to be interpreted into the world, but what of a mask meant for self-reflection? A mask not meant for the audience, but the user.

Mascara Obscura was an experiment on self-collection and one’s willingness or lack thereof to interact with the outside world.
